FAQs
Do I need any prior experience on stage?

Nope!
How much does it cost?

Every person who performs on stage in any CentreStage Rolleston production is asked to pay a show levy. The show levy
for this production is $50 which helps cover the cost of a CentreStage Rolleston One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest t-shirt.
Is there an age limit for this show?

Auditions are open to anyone aged 18+ at the time of auditions. We are unfortunately not able to make any exceptions.
This show explores themes relating to mental health, institutionalisation, power and control within a psychiatric facility. Some scenes and dialogue reference mental illness, medical treatment, and coercive authority, which some people may find confronting or triggering.
We encourage you to be mindful of these themes and to reach out to the production managers if you would like more information about the material before auditioning.
What do I need to prepare?

You will be asked to prepare a specified script excerpt. This is available on this page.

Some auditionees may be invited to a callback between 7-9pm on Monday 4 May.
