Do I need any prior experience on stage?

How much does it cost?
​
Every person who performs on stage in any CentreStage Rolleston production is asked to
pay a show levy. The show levy
for this production is $50 which includes a CentreStage Rolleston The Wedding Singer t-shirt.
Is there an age limit for this show?
​
Auditions are open to anyone aged over 18 at the time of auditions. We are unfortunately not able to make any exceptions.
What do I need to prepare?
​
Choose a song to sing in your range at a maximum of 2 minutes, which you know well and that best suits your voice and be confident in your choice. Bring a backing track where appropriate or sing a capella, it’s up to you.
Be aware that the musical director may ask you to sing with the piano in order to find out your vocal range.

There is also a dance audition for all auditionees from 4pm-5pm on Sunday 24th November.
